TTNET offers Net Nanny to 7 Million Broadband Subscribers

Over 300,000 customers have been served

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — NOVEMBER 6, 2013ContentWatch Inc., makers of Net Nanny, the world’s best parental control software, announced that TTNET, division of Türk Telekom, offers Net Nanny for Windows to its 7 million broadband subscribers.  And, more than 300,000 TTNET customers have relied on Net Nanny during the project, even though pornography filtering is a key feature of TTNET’s core broadband service.

Based in Istanbul, TTNET is the largest Internet service provider (ISP) in Turkey and has approximately 7 million subscribers.  To retain and attract new customers and to stand out against the competition, TTNET offers Web content filtering and anti-virus solutions to subscribers as a premium service.

In recent years, the Turkish government mandated pornography filtering at the ISP level, but TTNET knew there would be demand from some parents for a more robust solution.

Mr. Ozgur Altinyay, Corporate Development Product Manager, selected Net Nanny after a rigorous review process. The project requirements were that the solution had to offer a significant value-added service at a reasonable internal cost and needed to be available with 24x7 customer service.  The evaluation team looked at solutions from a number of large U.S. software developers and the review process lasted more than 90 days.

Altinyay’s team required a localized, private labeled product at a very competitive price.  The solution had to be customized for the local market, as well as a new product name. The solution had to offer a full feature set, including remote administration for parents. And TTNET demands cooperation, flexibility, and responsiveness from its business partners.

Net Nanny fulfilled on project requirements and became one of the most successful premium service product offerings.
