ContentWatch Appoints Russ Warner as CEO
With an exceptional background in sales and business development, Warner will drive growth and help expand partner outreach efforts
SALT LAKE CITY - April 20, 2010 - ContentWatch, (http://contentwatch.com) the leading provider of parental control solutions and Internet filtering, today announced the appointment of Russ Warner as CEO. Warner replaces Jack Sunderlage, who joined ContentWatch in 2005. Sunderlage will remain with ContentWatch through the management transition as he prepares for a new service opportunity in the community.
Most recently Warner led efforts that were instrumental in the expansion of several technology companies as the Managing Director of SageCreek Partners, including a business expansion that recently increased revenue in a region of one of SageCreek’s Fortune 500 clients by more than 146 percent. Warner was chosen from a field of outstanding CEO candidates, and was also one of several recommended by SageCreek Managing Partner Greg Butterfield, a technology industry icon who along with business leader Glen Mella, president and COO of Control4, recently joined the ContentWatch board.

Warner has helped to establish and grow technology companies ranging from startups to the Fortune 1000. Most recently, as Managing Director of SageCreek Partners, he accelerated the path to funding and market expansion for several emerging companies. Prior to SageCreek, Warner was VP of Global Sales for Alianza, where he attained growth rates over two years far surpassing previous levels. As director of Latin America & Caribbean Sales for Altiris/Symantec, Warner grew revenue an average of 142%, with one year at 350%, and developed 75 active channel partners in 18 countries in 3 years. At Novell he increased retail software sales by 40 percent and overall product sales by 125 percent in a single year.
