President and Chief Executive Officer
Jack W. Sunderlage serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of ContentWatch Inc., a provider of Internet Management software and services.
Mr. Sunderlage has enjoyed a long and successful career in the Information Technology industry. He has held key sales and marketing executive positions with Burroughs, UNISYS, Digital Equipment, Compaq Computer, and Hewlett-Packard. His last assignment was Vice President of Global Accounts; West Region for Compaq, a part of HP. Jack took an early retirement from HP in July 2002.
Before joining ContentWatch in March 2005, Jack had been doing contract consulting with the Utah Partnership for Education in developing business partnerships for the creation of six new high tech high schools in Utah, a part of the Early College Initiative.
Jack is the Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Utah Information Technology Association where he continues to be a trustee with the newly formed Utah Technology Council. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the World Trade Center Utah. In 2006, he was appointed to the Utah Science Technology and Research (USTAR) Governing Board for the State of Utah.
He is a member of the Board of Directors for ContentWatch and DirectPointe.
Jack received the Utah Governor's Medal for Science and Technology in 2007 for special recognition of his contributions and significant impact to the State of Utah.
In 2007, he was recognized by Connect Magazine as one of The 25 People Who Most Influenced Business in Utah and by Utah Business Magazine as one of The 100 Most Influential People in Utah.
In 2009, he was recognized as the CEO of the Year by the Utah Technology Council for his vital leadership role in Utah's technology community.
In 2009 for the 5th year, Jack was selected to the vSpring v100, a group of the top capital entrepreneurs in Utah.
Other community affiliations include the Commercialization Advisory Board for the University of Utah, the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School at Brigham Young University, the Athletic Leadership Council for BYU, and the National Presidential Advisory Board at Utah Valley University.
Jack received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics from Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, Iowa.
Executive Education includes leadership coursework at Babson College, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
It was at Cornell that Jack met his wife, Jean. They have lived in the states of Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Utah. They have four children and sixteen grandchildren.
